Conceptual artist and activist Mel Chin collaborated with Microsoft to create a site-specific mixed reality experience in NYC’s Times Square. Using HoloLens and a custom mobile phone AR app, Unmoored explores a possible future, where climate change has gone unchecked and Times Square is under 26 feet of water.
